Core Technologies:

Echo's Prelude SkinPrep System is a platform technology which significantly enhances skin permeation to enable:

  • Analyte extraction

With the first application being continuous glucose monitoring. With the Symphony® tCGM System, Echo is focused on providing reliable, real time glucose data continuously, conveniently and cost-effectively. Echo's goal is to change the current paradigm of invasive, episodic glucose testing for people with diabetes and for use in hospital critical care settings with a reliable, needle-free and easy-to-use tCGM system that can provide continuous tracking and trending of glucose levels throughout the day and night.

  • Needle-free drug delivery

With the first application being for the delivery of lidocaine. In partnership with Ferndale Pharma Group, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Eloquest Healthcare, Inc., Echo is also developing its needle-free Prelude SkinPrep System for painless skin permeation to allow for enhanced, faster acting transdermal drug delivery of its FDA-cleared 4% lidocaine cream for local dermal anesthesia.

Echo anticipates developing additional applications for its Prelude and Symphony technology once it finalizes the initial applications for those products.
